An excellent opportunity has become available for a Senior Geotechnical Engineer to join a highly regarded ground engineering consultancy based in Crawley, offering flexible and remote working options.

This role is ideal for an experienced engineer looking to take on a senior position within a supportive consultancy working across a range of infrastructure, commercial and residential developments throughout the UK.

The successful Senior Geotechnical Engineer will be responsible for managing projects from inception through to completion, producing interpretative reports, carrying out geotechnical analysis and design, and mentoring junior members of the team. You will play a key role in delivering high-quality technical work while maintaining strong client relationships.

This position offers a high level of flexibility, with remote working available alongside occasional visits to the office and project sites.

The successful Senior Geotechnical Engineer will have:

* A degree in Geotechnical Engineering, Geology or a related discipline

* Extensive experience within a geotechnical consultancy environment

* Strong experience producing factual and interpretative reports

* Knowledge of geotechnical design including foundations, retaining walls and slope stability

* Experience managing projects and mentoring junior engineers

* A full UK driving licence
