MSAT Engineer – Process Management (40% Home Office)Your Impact
As an MSAT Engineer in Process Management, you will help safeguard the robustness, compliance, and continuous improvement of our production processes. You will begin with core quality and compliance responsibilities and gradually expand your ownership of products, processes, and technical challenges.
Your work directly contributes to Roche’s mission of delivering trusted diagnostic solutions that improve patient outcomes worldwide.
Your Responsibilities- Quality & Compliance Ownership — Manage non‑conformities, changes, and documentation in SAP across processes, materials, equipment, and methods.
- Technical Supplier Interaction — Maintain technical relationships with external suppliers and collaborate closely with internal partners such as Logistics, Development, and Quality.
- Structured Problem Solving — Drive fact‑based root cause analysis and define effective corrective and preventive actions.
- Deviation Handling — Support investigations and processing of deviations within S&C sensor and reagent production.
- Process Improvement — Adapt and optimise production processes to enhance quality, yield, and cost efficiency.
- Control Loop Management — Establish, maintain, and continuously refine control loops for stable operations.
- Cross‑Functional Collaboration — Independently gather information and align with diverse stakeholders across the organisation.
- Regulatory Adherence — Ensure compliance with internal frameworks and external regulatory requirements.
- Audit Preparation — Represent the chapter during audits and ensure full audit readiness.
- Educational Background — Degree in Natural Sciences or Engineering (Biotech, Biology, Chemistry, Materials, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering) or equivalent technical apprenticeship with relevant experience.
- Experience in Regulated Environments — Initial professional experience in a GxP‑compliant setting and strong quality awareness.
- Process & Product Development Knowledge — Solid understanding of process and product development principles.
- Collaboration & Communication Strength — Ability to work independently and effectively across multidisciplinary teams with excellent communication skills.
- Proactive Mindset — Motivation to take responsibility and collaborate closely with engineers, QA, logistics, and operators.
- Hands‑On Technical Curiosity — Interest in manufacturing technologies and continuous improvement of BG&E processes.
- Language Skills — Fluent English and good German proficiency (B2+).
