Field Service Generator Specialist Remote

Become a Field Services and Technical Advising Specialist at GE Vernova. This remote position offers extensive travel to assist with generator installation and maintenance across the Americas.

In this independent role, you will travel approximately 80% for field service work on industrial power generation equipment. As a Generator Specialist, you will perform repairs, testing, and inspections while collaborating directly with clients to address their needs. The position relies on technical expertise and troubleshooting skills to safely maintain diverse generator systems in various environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop understanding of generator design and construction techniques

• Master generator inspection procedures and non-destructive testing

• Perform insulation and winding resistance tests on generators

• Diagnose faults and execute repair work on generator systems

• Provide on-site support and collaborate with customer personnel

Requirements:

• Technical degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or 4+ years of experience

• Proficiency with electrical test equipment

• Willingness to travel for site assignments

• Obtain security clearance for nuclear facilities

• Valid Driver's License and passport
