Position: Product Development Lead: Innovation & Industrialization (Hybrid)

As  Product Development Manager , you will play a key role in developing, industrializing and implementing innovative safety footwear products — from initial concept to full-scale production.
Your Role  As Product Development Manager, you are responsible for translating ideas into technically robust, manufacturable and market-ready products. You combine strong engineering expertise with an operational mindset and ensure products meet the highest standards in quality, compliance and sustainability.
Working closely with R&D, Operations and Process Engineering, you drive projects from concept through validation and industrial implementation.

Key Responsibilities  Lead product development projects from concept to validated industrial production within the PCP framework
Translate innovative concepts into technically robust and manufacturable product designs
Define product, material, tooling and process specifications for efficient production
Drive industrialization projects and collaborate with Operations and Process Engineering on factory implementation and optimization
Support testing, pilot runs, certifications and production ramp-up while ensuring compliance with standards and legislation
Contribute to sustainability goals by integrating CO₂ reduction and minimizing environmental impact throughout the product lifecycle

Profile  Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field.
Experience in R&D, product development and industrialization within manufacturing.
Strong understanding of factory implementation and operational processes.
A structured, analytical and pragmatic working style.
Strong communication and collaboration skills across teams, disciplines and cultures.
