Project Civil Engineer - Renewables

We are seeking an experienced Project Civil Engineer to join our established Civil & Structural Engineering team, delivering high profile renewable energy and sustainable infrastructure projects. Based in Edinburgh or Glasgow, the role focuses primarily on onshore wind, with additional exposure to solar and BESS developments, and a small amount of other civil engineering work spanning infrastructure, power, industrial and built environment sectors.

• Support the delivery of civil engineering projects from planning through to detailed design, working with multidisciplinary teams and clients.
• Develop design solutions and assist with client management and proposal development.
• Prepare planning designs and supporting documentation under senior guidance.
• Lead elements of projects and contribute to team delivery.
• Mentor and coach less experienced engineers.
• Desk‑based work alongside site visits across the UK and Ireland.

• Solid experience delivering UK civil engineering projects, ideally within renewables
• A degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
• Knowledge of relevant design codes and standards
• Experience with Civil3D and AutoCAD (desirable)
• Technical reporting and problem solving skills
• A driving licence that permits you to legally drive in the UK for site visits
