Senior Mechanical Engineer (Remote)

• Design, develop, and test mechanical systems and components for a variety of applications.
• Create detailed 3D CAD models and 2D manufacturing drawings.
• Perform engineering analysis, including stress, thermal, and vibration analysis.
• Conduct feasibility studies and define project requirements.
• Oversee prototype development, testing, and validation.

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in mechanical design and product development.
• Proficiency in CAD software (Solid Works, AutoCAD, CATIA) and simulation tools (ANSYS, COMSOL).
• Strong knowledge of thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, materials science, and manufacturing processes.
• Experience with engineering analysis (FEA, CFD) and design validation.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and critical‑thinking skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently and manage priorities in a remote environment.
• Experience with industry‑specific standards and regulations is a plus.

A fully remote role, the Lead Mechanical Design Engineer will guide the design and development of complex mechanical systems, from concept through production release.

• Lead the mechanical design and development of new products and systems.
• Create detailed 3D CAD models and 2D manufacturing drawings.
• Perform engineering analysis (FEA, CFD) to validate designs.
• Select appropriate materials and manufacturing processes.
• Develop and manage product design documentation, including BOMs and test procedures.
• Collaborate closely with manufacturing engineers for efficient production.
• Mentor and guide junior mechanical engineers.
• Oversee prototyping and testing phases, troubleshooting design issues.
• Conduct design reviews and present technical proposals.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and industry best practices.

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in mechanical design and product development.
• Proven experience leading design projects and mentoring engineering teams.
• Expert proficiency in 3D CAD software (Solid Works preferred) and associated PDM/PLM systems.
• Strong understanding of engineering principles, thermodynamics, and fluid dynamics.
• Experience with CAE tools for simulation and analysis (FEA, CFD).
• Familiarity with manufacturing processes (injection molding, CNC machining, sheet metal fabrication).
• Excellent problem‑solving, analytical, and critical‑thinking skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for remote collaboration.
• Proficiency in English is essential.
