As a Senior Geotechnical Engineer, you will:

• Support the design, analysis, and construction of dams, reservoirs, dykes, spillways, and hydropower projects across Canada.
• Conduct dam safety reviews and inspections in accordance with Canadian Dam Association Guidelines, with short‑duration travel within Canada.
• Manage and coordinate geotechnical‑focused and multidisciplinary project teams.
• Mentor and be mentored by colleagues, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous learning.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and build strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and industry partners.
• Contribute to business development, proposal preparation, and market expansion initiatives.
• Drive innovation by leading or contributing to digitization initiatives, advanced numerical modeling, market research, and emerging technologies.

• Proven ability to manage projects independently.

• Bachelor’s degree in Geological, Civil, or Geotechnical Engineering (Master’s or PhD an asset).
• 15+ years of relevant industry experience.
• Experience in dam engineering, dam safety, geotechnical design, and/or dam construction.
• Knowledge of Canadian and global dam guidelines and standards.
• General knowledge of geotechnical software solutions (Geo Studio™, Leap Frog, Rocscience).
• Demonstrated ability to work and manage projects independently.
• Proactive approach and strong problem‑solving skills.
• Effective communication skills, including report writing and client engagement.
• Committed to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
