Remote Technical Solutions Manager - Solar Inverters

Become a key part of Canadian Solar's vision as a Technical Solutions Manager focusing on Inverter Technology. This full-time remote role drives the innovation of battery energy storage solutions worldwide through advanced inverter technologies.

In the e-STORAGE engineering team, you will lead the development and management of both central and string inverter technologies.

Your role will involve close collaboration with engineering and business development teams to ensure effective solution design while adhering to compliance and certification standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead due diligence for centralized and string inverter technologies

• Develop and refine product requirements and supplier recommendations

• Support procurement in technical proposal evaluations

• Track emerging market codes and their product implications

• Manage Independent Engineer reviews for product validation

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience

• At least 5 years in inverter or energy storage product development

• Strong knowledge of control systems and validation processes

• Familiarity with financial product calculations

• Excellent interpersonal and collaborative skills
