Tasks & Responsibilities

• Define technical requirements for diagnostic instruments based on:
  • Business inputs
  • Customer needs
  • Risk ratings
  • System context
• Apply EARS (Easy Approach to Requirements Syntax) for requirement definition
• Contribute to requirements engineering concepts and strategies across:
  • Software
  • Hardware
  • Multiple system levels
• Review and assess:
  • Technical requirements
  • Specifications
• Collaborate closely within an interdisciplinary development team
• Provide status reporting to project or product leadership
• Support activities across the V-model, including testing and verification

Requirements

Mandatory Skills

• 5+ years experience in requirements engineering across full product life cycles
• Proven background in regulated environments (IVD or medical devices)
• Strong experience with:
  • Requirements analysis
  • Structuring and breakdown of requirements
  • ALM tools
• Hands-on experience with:
  • Test case creation
  • Test execution
  • Defect lifecycle management
• Solid understanding of the V-model
• Fluent English and German

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Certifications:
  • CPRE / IREB
  • CCBA / IIBA
  • INCOSE
• Background in:
  • Systems Engineering
  • Software Engineering
  • Medical Engineering
• Experience with large-scale projects (≈80 people)

• Strong communication skills (technical & stakeholder-facing)
• Ability to work autonomously and pragmatically
• Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving ability
