Infrastructure Design Manager
WSP are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Design Manager to join our Transport & Infrastructure business unit in Dubai. This role requires a highly skilled professional with a minimum of 10 years of experience
, including expertise in Dubai and Abu Dhabi
, working on projects in compliance with RTA and DMT regulations. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the design and delivery of roads, highways, and urban infrastructure projects, ensuring technical excellence and regulatory compliance.
- Lead and manage the design process for major roads, highways, and infrastructure projects.
- Ensure compliance with RTA and DMT standards, approvals, and regulations throughout project execution.
- Act as the primary technical liaison with clients, government authorities, and project stakeholders.
- Oversee design submissions, feasibility studies, and technical reports
, ensuring quality and accuracy. - Manage project timelines, budgets, and risk assessment to ensure successful delivery.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, including structural, drainage, and transport planners.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers and design teams.
- Support business development efforts, including bids, proposals, and client presentations

- Minimum 10 years of experience in infrastructure design, with a focus on roads and highways.
- Strong experience in Dubai and Abu Dhabi
, with a deep understanding of RTA and DMT regulatory requirements. - Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline; a Master’s degree is an advantage.
- Chartered Engineer (CEng) or Professional Engineer (PE) accreditation is preferred.
- Expertise in design software such as Civil 3D, MX Roads, Open Roads, or similar.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage teams and stakeholder relationships
. - Excellent communication and problem‑solving abilities.
