Telecom Engineer

Position: Telecom Engineer in Hybrid Role
Join Qualus as a Telecom Engineer in Vancouver, BC, where you'll design telecommunication systems for power transmission projects. This hybrid position allows you to balance office and remote work while showcasing your engineering skills.

This role involves working closely with a Telecom Engineering Manager, preparing design documentation under senior guidance, and managing multiple projects. You'll liaise with clients to ensure your designs align with project requirements while maintaining quality and budget. Emphasizing safety and collaboration, this position will require travel within Canada for field investigations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare engineering design drawings and documentation

• Collaborate with clients to ensure project alignment

• Coordinate with engineering disciplines for project integrity

• Manage multiple projects with efficiency

• Build relationships with team members and contractors

Requirements:

• Electrical Engineering degree from a recognized university

• 4+ years of telecom and/or industrial networking experience

• Registered as a Professional Engineer in British Columbia

• Valid Class 4 Canadian driver's license

• Able to work in the office a minimum of three days per week
