Pertemps are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Windchill Administrator to join their engineering team on a 12-month remote contract.
This role is specifically for someone with proven previous experience using and administering the Windchill PLM software system. Candidates must have worked hands-on with Windchill previously, as the position will involve day-to-day administration, user support, system improvements, and coordination between engineering, IT, and external providers.
The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining and optimising the client's Windchill environment, ensuring the system supports engineering processes efficiently and effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer, maintain, and optimise the Windchill PLM system.
- Provide day-to-day support to users working within Windchill.
- Review the current Windchill setup and recommend system and process improvements.
- Support engineering and project teams with training and guidance on Windchill best practices.
- Liaise with internal IT teams and external Windchill providers regarding troubleshooting, updates, and enhancements.
- Manage engineering documentation, technical data, and configuration records within Windchill.
- Ensure data integrity, version control, security, and compliance within the PLM environment.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives related to engineering workflows and PLM processes.
- Assist with testing, validation, and implementation of Windchill upgrades and new features.
- Produce reports, maintain documentation, and provide ongoing user support.
- Previous hands-on experience using and administering Windchill PLM software is essential.
- Strong understanding of Windchill administration and user support.
- Experience supporting engineering or technical teams within a PLM environment.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Excel, Word, and Project.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Fully Remote
- 12-Month Contract
- Up to £38 per hour
- 40 Hours Per Week
