Mechanical Design Engineer (Highly Technical Development)
£35,000 - £39,000 + Further Technical Training + Flexible Working Hours (37.5 hours per week) + Private Pension + Holidays
Office based, WFH Fridays, Commutable from Bridgewater, Taunton, Street, Chard, Yeovil, Tiverton, Weston Super Mare and surrounding.
Are you an ambitious Mechanical Engineer looking to oversee projects from cradle to grave within a globally established special purpose machinery manufacturer? This role offers further technical training, opportunities for advancement, and a fantastic work‑life balance with WFH Fridays.
The Role- Oversee projects from cradle to grave, including BOMs, 2D and mainly 3D designs (Inventor, training provided); oversight of technical authoring and assembly.
- Work on existing products, reverse engineering, and New Product Introduction (NPI).
- Monday‑Thursday in office, with remote working Fridays; 37.5 hours per week with flexible start timing between 8:00 and 9:00.
- Commutable to Bridgewater.
- Mechanically minded.
