Drive innovation in quantum computing as a Nonlinear Optics Engineer us on integrated nanophotonics and the development of complex optical devices.
Become a key member of Xanadu's Hardware R&D Team, where your PhD in physics or engineering will empower you to build nonlinear optical devices that support the creation of the first photonic quantum computers. You will conduct advanced optical experiments, using your analytical skills to refine the next generation of quantum light sources. Applicants should exhibit a significant background in nonlinear optics with a flair for working collaboratively.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement nonlinear optical devices
• Operate and analyze complex optical experiments
• Enhance quantum light sources for future applications
• Collaborate daily with physicists and engineering professionals
• Contribute to scalable solutions for quantum development
Requirements:
• Doctorate in physics, engineering, or a similar field
• At least 3 years in nonlinear optics and integrated devices
• Experience in an industrial environment preferred
• Knowledge of RF electro-optic tools and techniques
• Familiar with advanced quantum optics concepts
