Packaging and Process Engineer

For an international pharmaceutical organization, in the North-Brabant region, we are looking for a  Packaging & Process Engineer  to join the Center of Excellence Technical Operations.

You will work in both local and international project teams, combining strong technical expertise with project coordination and, where required, team leadership, while collaborating closely with departments such as Operations, Quality, Procurement, Supply Chain, and Engineering.

Your key responsibilities

Develop and maintain technical expertise in products, processes, equipment, and suppliers.

Initiate, coordinate, execute, and report on fact findings, investigations, root cause analyses, CAPEX projects, tech transfers, validations, changes, and continuous improvements.

Lead or contribute to multidisciplinary project teams and technical peer groups within defined areas of expertise.

Deliver key project outputs such as engineering, validation protocols and reports, project plans and risk assessments, change controls, URS, VMP, and qualification documentation.

Set up, maintain, and work with systems including the Quality Management System (QMS), SHE systems, and change control.

Drive improvements in processes, products, technologies, and systems.

Ensure implementation of company policies related to GMP and SHE to comply with regulatory requirements and internal standards.

Your profile

Bachelor’s degree (HBO) in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.

Several years of relevant experience in a highly regulated manufacturing environment.

Knowledge of primary, secondary, and tertiary packaging technologies and materials, as well as GMP or Food regulations, EHS guidelines, and Lean principles.

Proven experience with equipment qualification, process validation, and cleaning validation, including writing and executing validation protocols and reports.

Excellent communication skills in English and Dutch.

The offer

A salary between €75,000 and €80,000 gross per year, including 8% holiday allowance and 3% year-end bonus, in a range up to €92,800 gross per year.

An additional 7% performance bonus.

35.5 vacation days, hybrid working options, a home office allowance, and an excellent pension scheme.

Travel allowance (up to 100 km per day) and parental leave for both parents.
