Virtual Prototyping Engineer

Position: Hybrid Role: Virtual Prototyping Engineer
Exceed the boundaries of automotive technology with General Motors as a Virtual Prototyping Engineer. Work on Level 4 virtual ECU models in a hybrid work arrangement.

The Virtualization and SIL Integration team invites you to contribute to cutting-edge projects that redefine embedded control systems. In this role, you'll require significant expertise, including at least 5 years of relevant experience, proficiency in System

C, and familiarity with automotive communication protocols. You will integrate virtual control units and ensure that production software runs seamlessly in a virtual environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create vECU models using System

C TLM 2.0 standards

• Integrate various components into effective virtual environments

• Address and resolve integration and debugging challenges

• Coordinate efforts with multiple engineering teams

• Validate vECUs and their software functionality thoroughly

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years in embedded engineering

• Strong knowledge of System

C and TLM 2.0

• Proficiency in programming languages including C and Python

• Familiar with ARM microcontrollers and embedded systems

• Experience with automotive communications like CAN and LIN
