TECHNICAL ADVISOR – LANDSCAPE CONSTRUCTION & DESIGN
Remote Position – Canada
Salary: $80,000 – $105,000 CAD + Quarterly Bonus

As demand for our products continues to grow, we are seeking a Technical Advisor to become a key member of our team.
The Opportunity
This is a unique opportunity for someone who enjoys both technical work and communication.
You will become one of the public technical faces of Envirobond, delivering webinars, supporting project teams, helping create technical resources, and assisting with project reviews throughout North America.
Unlike many technical positions, this role combines engineering, education, construction knowledge, design support, and public presentation.
The position is fully remote with business in:
Canada, USA, Europe, Australia/New Zealand
Primary Responsibilities
Webinars & Technical Education
• Deliver live webinars to landscape architects, engineers, municipalities, and contractors
• Participate in technical Q&A sessions
• Present technical concepts clearly and professionally
• Become a recognized technical expert on Organic-Lock products
Project Support
• Assist with project design reviews
• Support landscape architects and contractors during project development
• Help review plans, specifications, grading, and drainage details
• Participate in technical support calls
Case Studies & Technical Content
• Develop project case studies
• Assist with technical articles and educational resources
• Document project successes and lessons learned
• Help create technical presentations and training materials
Technical Support
• Assist with project troubleshooting
• Support installation reviews
• Participate in project issue resolution
• Escalate complex technical matters to senior engineering consultants when required
Training
Envirobond will provide extensive training on:
• Organic-Lock products
• Aggregate pathway design
• Stabilized aggregate construction
• Accessibility requirements
• Installation best practices
• Technical sales support
• Internal systems and processes
Qualifications
Preferred Education
• Civil Engineering
• Environmental Engineering
• Construction Engineering
• Landscape Architecture
• Landscape Engineering Technology
• Civil Engineering Technology
• Related discipline
Preferred Designations
• EIT
• P.Eng.
• CET
• OALA
• CSLA
• RLA
Experience
• 3–8 years of relevant experience
• Experience in landscape construction, site development, civil construction, parks, trails, drainage, or hardscape projects
• Understanding of grading and drainage principles
• Ability to read plans, details, and specifications
• Familiarity with aggregate materials and construction methods
Communication Skills
This position requires exceptional communication skills.
The successful candidate must be:
• Comfortable speaking on camera
• Comfortable presenting live webinars
• Professional and engaging in virtual meetings
• Able to explain technical concepts in simple language
• Strong in written communication
Digital Skills
• Comfortable learning and utilizing AI tools
• Comfortable working remotely
• Strong organizational skills
• Experience with CRM and cloud-based systems
Travel
The position is primarily remote.
Periodic travel may include:
• Site visits
• Industry conferences
• Training events
• High-profile project meetings
Compensation
• Base Salary: $80,000 – $105,000 CAD
• Quarterly bonus program
