RoleSummary:
Lead the engineering delivery of renewable energy projects from concept to commissioning across HV/MV/LV systems. Ensure designs are compliant, buildable, and cost-effective while coordinating multidisciplinary teams and supporting project execution.
Key Skills & ResponsibilitiesRequired:
- 10+ years in Electrical Project Engineering (renewables preferred)
- Level 3 qualification (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering
- Experience working with UK grid operators (DNO/TNO)
- Proven track record delivering infrastructure or energy projects
- Strong knowledge of HV/MV/LV systems, including grid connections (DNO/TNO interfaces)
- Experience with Protection & Control, SCADA, and OEM integration
- Ensure compliance with UK/European standards (BS EN, ENA, G99/100, Grid Code, CDM)
- Develop and oversee Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs)
- Support FATs and ensure equipment meets specifications
- Ensure QA/QC alignment and progressive assurance
- Strong understanding of electrical safety (LOTO, permits, switching)
