Position: Networking Solutions Engineer - Hybrid Role
Join Semtech’s Air Link team as a Networking Solutions Engineer in a hybrid role located in Richmond, BC. Focus on diagnosing and resolving advanced issues in our robust wireless router systems.
This position on the Air Link Router System Engineering team merges technical expertise with real-world application. You’ll be at the forefront of addressing intricate networking issues, leveraging your knowledge to influence product development and customer satisfaction. Regular collaboration with both internal teams and direct customer feedback will guide your efforts to enhance our Air Link products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage comprehensive investigations of Air Link router issues

• Execute diagnostics using tools such as IP packet captures

• Offer expert guidance for client requests and platform behavior

• Feed customer insights into new system design and features

• Keep detailed records of troubleshooting and operational findings
Requirements:

• Bachelor’s in Computer Science or equivalent work experience

• 5+ years of experience in Linux systems and programming

• Deep understanding of IPv4/v6 and related networking protocols

• Strong communication skills for diverse audiences

• Proactive and capable of working autonomously
