Salary:  $120,000 to $140,000 per year

Bonus:  Up to  10% annually , based on performance

Do you like when numbers are precise, models are well-structured, and bids are solid? Do you want to work on concrete, technical projects without micromanagement?

A well-established specialized contractor on the South Shore is looking for a  senior estimator  to play a key role in preparing bids for excavation and building. Here, your expertise in estimation and 3D modeling is recognized and utilized from the start.

Main Responsibilities

Study and analyze plans, specifications, and technical documents

Perform accurate quantity takeoffs using  3D modeling (Mensura)

Produce complete estimates for excavation and building projects

Develop different execution scenarios and validate their feasibility

Estimate direct, indirect costs, and overhead

Conduct research, analysis, and comparison of subcontractor and supplier prices

Provide subcontracting prices for relevant projects

Participate in closing bids with the estimation management

Prepare clear and complete documentation for the handover to execution

Ensure compliance with standards, laws, regulations, and internal procedures

Keep abreast of market trends and competition

Perform any other related tasks related to estimation

Desired Profile

Minimum  4 years of experience  in estimation in the civil engineering field

Relevant education:  Bachelor's, DEC in civil engineering or AEC in estimation

Experience with a  specialized contractor  (excavation/building)

Excellent mastery of Mensura (3D modeling)  – essential

Knowledge of  TPL  for takeoff (important asset)

Good mastery of the  MS Office  suite

ASP Construction card or willingness to undergo training

Autonomy, rigor, and attention to detail

Analytical skills, leadership, and collaborative spirit

Comfortable in a dynamic environment and under deadlines
