Position: Technician for Avionics Systems Maintenance
Step into a critical role as an Avionics Systems Technician with the Canadian Armed Forces, maintaining the electronic systems of military aircraft. This position involves both local and remote work assignments.
In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for maintaining important components such as navigation systems, communication devices, and flight control systems. Your skills will ensure that aircraft are ready for deployment, conducting preventive maintenance, and performing necessary calibrations. Additionally, you will instruct newer technicians, enhancing skill development within the squadron.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct performance tests and maintenance of avionics systems

• Set up and manage test equipment efficiently

• Train personnel in essential technical skills

• Maintain and organize aircraft maintenance documentation

• Perform servicing tasks such as cleaning and de-icing
Requirements:

• Completion of Grade 10 or equivalent educational background

• Preferably hold a college diploma or Red Seal certification

• Open to shift work and relocation

• Opportunities available through the Non-Commissioned Member Training Program

• Excellent technical aptitude and troubleshooting capabilities
