Role and Responsibility
- Design, develop, and integrate communication systems and data link solutions for our products
- Define communication architectures, interfaces, and network concepts to ensure reliable and secure data exchange
- Take system design responsibility for assigned electrical and electronic systems across the product lifecycle
- Create and maintain design data like specifications, wiring diagrams, configurations, interface definitions, and test procedures
- Prototype assembly of components and systems
- Lead and support integration of systems in the aircraft
- Support ground, and flight testing, including hands‑on troubleshooting activities
- Root cause analysis and problem solving
- Managing avionics components and system suppliers
- Ensure compliance with applicable quality, safety, and regulatory requirements
- Higher education in Electrical Engineering, Avionics Engineering, or Systems Engineering or equivalent
- 5+ years of relevant experience in electrical, electronics, avionics, or system integration engineering
- Strong expertise in communication systems, manufacturing support, assembly, and testing
- Proficiency with at least one major electrical CAD/ECAD tool (e.g., for schematics, wiring, or harness design)
- Hands‑on mindset with a strong ability and willingness to troubleshoot, analyse, and solve technical problems
- High degree of flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic and growing company
- Strong team player with good communication skills across disciplines
- Fluent in English – written and spoken
- Experience with M365 (SharePoint, Outlook, Teams)
- A strong can‑do/will‑do attitude
- Strong ownership from kickoff to delivery
- Experience working in high‑quality and safety‑critical environments (e.g., aviation, automotive, rail, or similar)
- Having experiences in certification processes and/or worked under EASA Part
21 - Experience with Jira, Confluence
- German: B2 - Upper Intermediate language
