As the Principal Metallurgist, you'll provide expert guidance to enhance Teck's geo-metallurgical models and technical capabilities. With over 15 years' experience, you'll manage metallurgical projects, ensuring timely and effective results. Your leadership will drive process optimization and encourage innovative approaches to emerging processing technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define and implement metallurgical best practices for efficiency

• Lead metallurgical test programs with technical staff oversight

• Communicate and report results at all organizational levels

• Collaborate with contractors and partners for high-quality execution

• Foster innovation in processing technologies and modelling approaches

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, MSc or PhD preferred

• P.Eng. registration under EGBC or eligibility

• Minimum 15 years in extractive metallurgy and mineral processing

• Strong communication skills and leadership experience

• Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
