Socomec North America seeks a dedicated engineer with a mechanical or electro-mechanical engineering degree, along with 3-5 years of relevant industry experience. This role focuses on designing and packaging complex electro-magnetic systems while supporting the manufacturing process and meeting product specifications. Candidates must demonstrate initiative and a resourceful approach to innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design mechanical systems using Solidworks 3-D modeling

• Integrate electro-mechanical components for power assemblies

• Prepare detailed 2D and MBD manufacturing data packages

• Assist with factory assembly and troubleshooting

• Document product lines following company procedures

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electro-Mechanical Engineering

• Over 3 years of engineering experience

• Proficient in Solid Works with an emphasis on assembly

• Excellent problem-solving abilities and teamwork skills

• Authorized to work in Canada and available for travel
