About
The Role
Deliver civil engineering in line with project requirements, Ausenco's engineering standards and the relevant statutory requirements.
Design process plant platforms, access roads, drainage and associated infrastructure in remote and challenging terrain.
Use established procedures, gather & correlate basic data & perform detailed or routine engineering duties
Prepare simple plans, designs, calculations & cost estimates
Assist in gathering measurements & data at site locations
Prepare equipment lists & material lists
Prepare & maintain drawing lists & files
Communicate effectively with project team members to identify needs and evaluate alternative solutions.
About You
Bachelor's degree in civil engineering from a recognized post-secondary institution.
5-10 years' experience, primarily in the design of civil infrastructure for industrial & mining projects (including bulk earthworks, roads, storm sewers, storm water management and drainage, and site services and utilities).
P.Eng designation, or working toward it.
Experience in consulting engineering working on industrial, mining projects is preferred.
Construction and contract administration experience is definitely an asset.
Proficient using Civil 3D software.
Basic experience with other modelling/drafting and analysis software.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Highly motivated with strong commitment to teamwork.

Salary range: $98,000–$123,000 annually.
