Job Description  AECOM is actively seeking a Field Management Manager with experience in Design-Build and Progressive Delivery for a full time, hybrid position in Halifax.
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
Advancing Technical Knowledge and Quality(30%):  Working with DMs and PMs to drive Technical excellence and quality
Supporting Northern Construction projects like Giant, Faro, Rayrock
Driving technical excellence, use of Best Practices and Innovation for implementation on projects
Standing up strong Field Managers and field teams, to develop staff, ensure reduced risk of both delivery and safety and quality on the projects.
Project oversight/ Sr technical support and guidance on scope and risk to implement mitigation strategies and intervene as necessary
Drive successful EC engagement for team and help achieving EC targets, where possible
Staff Stewardship and Mentorship (60%):  Execute workforce planning to drive strong profits and culture of safety, quality and employee satisfaction.
Supporting RBLL,DOO, PLs, and SD review of key staff – e.g., Capture Managers, Project Managers and Project Approvers quarterly by providing performance feedback as applicable on staff
Ensure mentoring and succuss ion planning of practitioners to ensure disciplines and geographic coverage
Setting an example for and mentoring staff in best practices of Safety, Quality and technical excellence in project delivery
Leading local efforts to attract best-in-class delivery talent. Developing a competent core team of site field managers to support the portfolio of norther projects.
Work with DM on identify hiring needs and helping to hire those staff so adequate bandwidth to upcoming construction work.
Development and implement of a training framework for northern staff with the DMs to ensure minimal skills of remote workers.
Growth (10%):  Working with the leadership team in execution of market sector strategies and execution of projects in business line/region.
Helping prioritize strategic pursuits and identify individuals best suited to participate in initiatives related to growth, including project execution excellence and differentiating AECOM in proposals.
Working with PLs, SD/RGDs to produce profitable and competitive pricing, and optimization staff mix to achieve SCM
Identify and participate as presenters to key Technical Conferences
Qualifications   Bachelors Degree/Certification, and8 years relevant experience, or demonstrated equivalency of experience.
