Process Technician

Mission

Within manufacturing operations, the Process Technician supports the execution of technical projects by analyzing work methods and structuring operational practices. He or she plays a central role in defining, measuring, and standardizing work methods to improve the efficiency and consistency of operations.

Reporting to the Project Coordinator - Industrial Engineering, they work closely with the production, maintenance, and engineering teams.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Conduct time studies and analyze work methods
• Establish, document, and maintain work instructions
• Define and ensure the updating of operational standards
• Contribute to process analysis and the identification of variances
• Support workplace layout and optimization projects
• Participate in the implementation of technical and organizational solutions
• Ensure that operational documentation is kept up to date
• Collaborate with teams to ensure consistent application of methods
• Participate in job and task analyses (ergonomics and safety)
• Support the Project Manager in monitoring field activities

Profile

With the following skills and qualities, you’ll thrive in this role:

• Associate’s degree in industrial engineering, manufacturing engineering, or a related field
• 0 to 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
• Experience with or interest in time studies and work methods
• Strong understanding of manufacturing environments
• Proficiency with computer tools (Excel, etc.)
