Are you an experienced Estimator with a degree in Civil Engineering, Construction, Environmental Engineering or a related discipline?
Interested in joining a leading and growing specialist consultancy?

We are looking for a motivated and detail driven Estimator with a strong interest in civil engineering projects to join our clients expanding team. This is an excellent opportunity to develop or progress your career in estimating while contributing to projects that focus on engineering excellence with consideration for environmental enhancement.
As part of their Bids and Business Development Team, you will work closely with Project Managers, Engineers and Technical Leads to deliver accurate costings and high-quality proposals for a wide range of schemes.

This is a hybrid role with opportunities for remote working and frequent site visits nationwide.

Key Accountabilities

Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates for a range of civil engineering and environmental projects.
Review technical drawings, specifications and site requirements to produce robust tenders.
Draft and compile bid documents and written proposals.
Source and evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotations.
Attend site visits with engineers and specialists to assess project requirements.
Work closely with in-house teams to refine and support bid preparation.
Support bid administration and ensure submissions meet tender deadlines.

About You

We're seeking someone with a passion for civil engineering, eager to learn and thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced setting.

Full UK driving licence.
A degree in Civil Engineering, Construction, Environmental Engineering, or a related discipline.
Strong numerical and analytical ability.
Confident communicator with strong presentation and interpersonal skills.
High attention to detail, organised and able to manage workloads to strict deadlines.
A proactive and positive approach with a willingness to adapt.
