Send job## Job Details Structural Engineers | All Levels | Belfast Vickerstock Recruitment are working with a leading, multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy to recruit Structural Engineers at all levels, from early-career engineers (2+ years' experience) through to Senior and Principal level, to support continued growth within their Belfast office. This is an excellent opportunity to join a respected consultancy with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality building projects across the UK and Ireland.
With a healthy forward pipeline and a collaborative team culture, the business is keen to speak with ambitious structural engineers looking to develop their careers within a supportive and technically strong environment. Your new role as Structural Engineer Depending on your level and experience, you will be involved in the design and delivery of a wide range of building projects across commercial, residential, education and public-sector developments.
Responsibilities may include:
Structural analysis and design using reinforced concrete, steel, masonry and timber Production and review of structural calculations, drawings and specifications Coordination with architects, M&E engineers and other project stakeholders Supporting projects through design development and construction stages Attending design meetings and, where appropriate, site visits Mentoring and supporting junior engineers (Senior / Principal level) Providing technical leadership and design oversight (Principal level) What you'll need to succeed To be considered for these roles, you should have: A degree in Civil or Structural Engineering At least 2 years' experience in a structural engineering role (consultancy or contractor background considered) Experience working on building structures Good understanding of UK design standards and Eurocodes Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach For senior and principal roles:
Chartered status (ICE or IStruct
E) or close to chartership Experience leading projects, managing design delivery or mentoring engineers What's in it for you?
