Are you familiar with the automation pyramid (ISA-95) and how to store data from PLC’s and SCADA into historians such as OSIsoft PI or PAS-X? Our Smart Factory team, with more than 40 automation professionals, supports a variety of industries in optimizing their real-time data collection from the production floor.
Your opportunities as Consultant Manufacturing Execution System (MES) at Capgemini Engineering  Working in the heart of our client environments. That is what you can expect in this role. You will closely work with clients, suppliers, and internal colleagues to ensure automation projects succeed. In this role, you will collect real-time data from PLC, DCS and SCADA systems. You are involved in the complete development process and will contribute to obtaining requirements, implementing systems, and site testing.

Finally, you will work with databases and occasionally support in troubleshooting activities.

Why is this job vacancy a good fit for you?  As you will work closely with colleagues and clients, we expect you to be able to clearly communicate with clients and use your knowledge to understand their needs and follow-up upon them. From a technical viewpoint, knowledge about MES and Historian systems is required.

Experience with PAS-X modeling is preferred as we are working mostly with pharmaceutical clients using this.
