Elevate your career as a Mechanical Engineer II at Westinghouse with a hybrid work schedule. Develop 3D models and detailed manufacturing drawings for innovative tooling systems.
In this role, you will report to the Manager of Maintenance Tooling Engineering and work in one of our Ontario offices two days a week. Your key responsibilities include designing first-of-a-kind electro-mechanical tooling, overseeing assembly and testing, and mentoring junior engineers. Collaborate to ensure compliance and excellence throughout the design evolution.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop 3D models and manufacturing drawings for tooling
• Assemble and test custom equipment from prototype to completion
• Create test procedures to meet design specifications
• Operate tooling systems in customer facilities
• Mentor junior Engineering team members
Requirements:
• Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical or Mechatronic Engineering
• 2 to 4 years of relevant experience required
• Understanding of design development and engineering processes
