CNC Machinist (Progression to Technical Sales Engineer) – Salary £40,000 – £50,000 plus benefits, training and a company car. Hybrid role, Monday‑Friday, field‑based.

For over 50 years this specialist manufacturer has supplied bespoke CNC machining and manufacturing solutions to aerospace, medical and motor sport industries. To continue its growth it is looking to bring an experienced CNC professional into its commercial team and provide the training required to develop into a successful Technical Sales Engineer.

• Consult clients throughout delivery and develop both existing and new business opportunities through varied strategies.
• Prepare quotations and support projects from enquiry through to order placement.
• Attend customer sites to understand requirements.
• Work directly with customers and engineers to deliver tailored machining solutions.
• Split time between customer visits, remote working and office‑based activities to drive new business and grow existing accounts.

• CNC Machinist or similar background.
• Precision engineering experience.
• Willingness to travel nationwide and commute to Peterborough once a week.
• Strong commercial drive and excellent communication skills.
