Remote Consultant

The Teamcenter Expert is responsible for providing specialised support, configuration, and optimisation of the Teamcenter Product Lifecycle Management tool and processes. They will be the authority on PLM standards, methodologies, automation and integration with CAD/ERP. The roles aim is to ensure design teams operate efficiently, accurately, and in compliance with organisational and industry standards. This role will require strong communication, influencing, facilitation and stakeholder management skills, working as part of a team that consists of IBM and client team members alike.

• Act as the subject matter expert for PLM (Teamcenter)
• Provide hands on experience in the Teamcenter toolset.
• Support the implementation of key Teamcenter modules (e.g. Engineering Change Management, BoM Management, etc)
• Work with the solution architects to maintain integration with the CAD System (Siemens NX).
• Provide mentoring and knowledge transfer to client members of staff.
• Support the design and standardisation of PLM processes including configuration Management, Change Management, Part and Document lifecycle control, etc.
• Ensure compliance with the relevant industry standards e.g. CM2.
• Support planning and delivery of data migration in Teamcenter.
• Act as a trusted advisor to senior programme leadership and business capability owners.
