This position involves efficient operation and maintenance of water treatment equipment, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Responsibilities include conducting laboratory tests, responding to equipment alarms, and performing routine maintenance. Ideal candidates will possess strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in remote locations across western Canada.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate and monitor water treatment equipment effectively
• Respond to emergencies and troubleshoot equipment issues
• Conduct water sample tests and adjust treatment processes
• Maintain accurate logs of treatment and maintenance activities
• Perform landscaping and housekeeping as needed
Requirements:
• Secondary school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in water/wastewater treatment
• EOCP level 1 certification preferred
• Valid class 5 driver’s license with clean abstract
• Experience with Microsoft Office applications
