We’re looking for an engineer to manage multiple large-scale projects while ensuring the highest quality standards across our industries. In this role, you’ll lead projects as big as your ambition, allowing you to be recognized as a reference for best practices.
Responsibilities- Design, modify, and program electrical systems, automation systems, and operator interfaces
- Design, automate, and modify equipment according to customer needs
- Participate in the commissioning of new or modified equipment while ensuring performance and safety
- Manage automation projects: needs analysis, purchasing, supervision of manufacturing, design, programming, and production start-up
- Support and optimize systems in production
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, quality, and environmental standards
- Identify root causes of equipment failures
- Provide technical support to partners
- Approve and seal plans, specifications, and technical documents as part of engineering work
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, combined with more than 5 years of experience in electrical engineering within a manufacturing environment
- Proficiency with Allen Bradley software, AutoCAD Electrical, Factory Talk View, and Ignition
- Knowledge of the Canadian/Quebec Electrical Code
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Knowledge and experience in machine safety
- Strong ability to take full ownership of projects and ensure proper follow-up
- Ability to clearly explain technical concepts to employees
- Ability to speak and read English (3/5)
- Knowledge of the MS Office suite
- Knowledge of the rubber industry
