Job Description & How to Apply Below
Overview  Analist Energietransitie Asset Management at Stedin focuses on translating complex and uncertain future developments into concrete implications for our network. Using energy transition scenarios, you map future risks and help shape investment plans and congestion management measures to enable smarter planning, investment, and preparation of our grids for the future. You also contribute to various projects to create insights on strategic topics, enabling management teams to make informed decisions.

With in-house advanced analytical models and tools, you help shape the energy transition within our service area, and, if needed, optimize or extend these models to incorporate the impact of new technologies in our quantitative analyses.
Responsibilities   Turn energy transition scenarios into actionable insights and implications for network planning and investment.
Support and participate in portfolio activities and multiple projects to generate strategic insights for management decisions.
Utilize and enhance in-house analytical models and tools; extend models to capture new technologies’ impact (e.g., utility-scale batteries) in quantitative analyses.
Collaborate with colleagues inside and outside the team to share findings and align on strategic topics.
Engage in stakeholder discussions and help prepare long-term investment and congestion management measures for the grid (15 years ahead).
Assist in evaluating and prioritizing projects in the context of the energietransitie and related societal and economic considerations.
Qualifications   Completed university degree (WO) in Elektrotechniek, Werktuigbouwkunde, or Technische Bestuurskunde preferred.
Minimum of 5 years’ work experience.
Demonstrated experience with quantitative analysis and modeling.
Willingness to share knowledge and experience with others; ervaring met projectleiderschap is a plus, preferably within a consultancy where advising is natural.

Experience with tools such as Python and/or R.
Work rhythm and benefits   Role available for at least 32 hours per week; 36 or 40 hours also negotiable.
Hybrid/work-from-home considerations as part of the work arrangement.
