Senior Hydrogeochemist Remote or On-site

Join SRK Consulting as an Intermediate to Senior Hydrogeochemist, available across various Canadian cities or remotely. This role focuses on geochemical modeling and environmental assessments in mining.

As a key member of SRK's geochemistry team, you will design and execute hydrogeochemical studies while mentoring junior staff and supporting project management.

Your role will include water quality predictions and the preparation of technical documents for regulators and other stakeholders. This position allows you to contribute to environmentally sustainable mining practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute hydrogeochemical characterization programs

• Develop models describing contaminant transport

• Conduct water quality predictions using software tools

• Supervise field-scale testing for water quality

• Mentor junior staff and contribute to knowledge sharing

Requirements:

• Advanced degree in a relevant field preferred

• Minimum five years of mining-related consulting experience

• Professional registration as a Geoscientist or Engineer

• Experience with geochemical modeling software

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
