Position: Senior Environmental Planner - Hybrid Role
Join Jacobs as a Senior Environmental Planner and play a vital role in environmental project management within a flexible hybrid work model from our Toronto office.

This full-time position requires expertise in environmental assessments, permitting, and regulatory compliance. As part of a dynamic team, you will ensure projects meet high environmental standards while offering guidance to engineering and client teams. Your contributions will enhance Jacobs' commitment to sustainability and responsible innovation in infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage environmental assessments and permitting processes

• Oversee compliance with environmental regulations

• Develop and maintain project schedules and deliverables

• Engage with stakeholders and Indigenous communities

• Mentor junior staff through on-the-job training

Requirements:

• Degree in natural resources or environmental science

• Over 10 years in natural resources, ideally in consulting

• Experience with Ontario’s EA Act and other legislation

• Proven ability in strategic client advisory

• Strong time management and multitasking skills
