Position: Electrical Engineer for Hydropower Testing
Advance your career with CIMA+ as an Electrical Engineer specializing in Hydropower Testing and Commissioning, based in the Greater Montreal area. This hybrid full-time opportunity allows you to work from home and collaborate on groundbreaking energy projects.
You'll play a vital role in the design and commissioning phases of new and existing hydroelectric power plants, drawing on over five years of experience and your college diploma in Electrical Engineering. Your contributions will include high-power switch gear design and preparation of technical drawings, ensuring successful project delivery through your coordination with various engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and layout electrical power systems for hydropower

• Draft diagrams for switch gear and control systems

• Prepare comprehensive project documentation

• Validate equipment sizing and perform selection calculations

• Work alongside various engineering disciplines for cohesive results
Requirements:

• College diploma in Electrical Engineering

• More than five years of relevant work experience

• Understanding of Hydro-Québec design standards (asset)

• Experience with AutoCAD and similar design tools

• Bilingual capability in French and English for project collaboration
