- Education:
College/CEGEP - Experience:
2 years to less than 3 years Tasks - Prepare engineering designs and drawings
- Read blueprints to determine work requirements
- Develop and prepare design sketches
- Prepare construction specifications, costs and material estimates
- Prepare contracts and tenders
- Write technical reports
- Estimate costs and materials
- Complete documentation packages and drawing sets
- Examine drawings for conformity and errors
- Consult with client, engineers or production specialists to establish product requirements Computer and technology knowledge
- Computer-aided design (CAD) Screening questions
