Supervisor, Energy & Infrastructure Underground Maintenance

Supervise all energy & electrical surface & UG maintenance activities;

Supervise and coordinate the UG electrical maintenance & development activities;

Implement and ensure application of working procedures among team members;

Applies the methods and principles of the Supervision Formula;

Organizes the weekly jobs to execute according to the weekly schedule;

Ensure proper standard work practices are followed through the preventive and corrective maintenance activities;

Coordinate, in collaboration with reliability engineers, electrical and planned shutdowns activities when necessary;

Coordinate morning meetings and weekly safety meetings with your team;

Analyses and organizes the training needs for immediate employees;

With respect of Agnico Eagle’s internal management process, prepare daily work packages for all team members;

Applies disciplinary measures to employees when required.

Electrical journeyman license, Instrumentation journeyman license or equivalent experience is required;

Must have 5+ years of experience underground supervision

Must have 5+ years of experience in a similar role in remote mine conditions;

Experience in remote site power plant management is considered an asset;

Education in Electrical Engineering is considered an asset;

Experience working in a multicultural environment;

Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team.
