Intel GPU Thermal Design Engineer

Shape the future of GPU solutions as a Thermal Design Engineer s remote position calls for expertise in thermal management for high-performance graphics technologies.

As part of the GPU Platform Engineering team, you will architect and validate thermal solutions for Intel's discrete graphics products, influencing key internal teams including firmware and software. Your work will ensure the successful ramp-up of high-volume production designs while adhering to thermal and acoustic requirements. Collaborate internationally with engineers and customers to achieve remarkable results.

Key Responsibilities:

• Simulate and validate fan control features for dGPU

• Optimize platform designs for Intel graphics systems

• Leverage knowledge to push industry-leading technologies

• Document work effectively for communication with partners

• Collaborate across disciplines to meet project timelines

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering

• 3+ years of heat transfer fundamentals

• 3+ years in thermal testing and debugging

• Familiarity with electronics cooling solutions

• 2+ years experience with PCIe or OAM form factors
