Technica is actively hiring Remote Scoop Operators to fill several positions in Matachewan, Ontario. Candidates should possess Underground Hard Rock Mining Common Core certifications and have experience in underground development. Key responsibilities involve operating LHD equipment, mucking underground materials, and contributing to various operational cycles within the mine.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate LHD equipment safely and efficiently

• Set up and install remote mucking blocks and back filling stopes

• Muck and load ore/waste materials underground

• Support operations by maintaining ore chutes and conveyor systems

• Operate construction equipment for underground passage maintenance

Requirements:

• Underground Hard Rock Mining Common Core certification

• Specialty module U0020 for LHD with Remote Control

• Minimum 5 years of underground development experience

• Previous jackleg and stoper experience a plus

• Open to work at multiple mine sites
