Your Role
As a Senior Project Buyer, you play a critical role in securing the success of large‑scale international data‑center projects across Europe and Asia. You are responsible for sourcing complex technical components and modular structures, and you thrive in a fast‑paced, high‑pressure project environment where priorities can shift quickly and decisive action is required.
You act as a key interface between engineering, sales, and project management, taking ownership of procurement strategy from early sales phase to execution, and actively contribute to developing and expanding our international supplier base, including onboarding new suppliers and strengthening supplier capabilities to meet growing project demands.
Your Responsibilities
Lead complex end‑to‑end RFQ processes within the Modular Structures domain, from early sales phase to execution handover.
Prepare total cost of ownership analyses, including detailed price breakdowns for technical components and systems.
Lead contract negotiations and secure commercial agreements with international suppliers.
Drive and document supplier selection processes and contract awards.
Identify, qualify, and onboard new suppliers to strengthen and expand the international supply base.
Develop supplier capacity and performance to ensure scalability and reliability for large‑volume projects.
Define and execute sourcing strategies during the sales phase to ensure competitiveness and feasibility.
Act as escalation point for critical supplier issues in high‑pressure project situations.
Proactively manage supply risks related to price, capacity, lead times, and market constraints.
Support claim management and supplier escalation procedures.
Contribute to continuous improvement of procurement processes including sustainability, digitalization and cost optimization initiatives.
Support and advise junior team members and drive cost‑out initiatives and efficiency improvements.
Your Background
Minimum 10 years of project procurement experience, with at least 5 years focused on technical equipment and familiarity with international contracts; experience in commodity or category management is a plus.
Strong affinity for technology, a deep understanding of complex technical products and fluency in English (spoken and written).
Proactive, analytical, and highly resilient, able to perform under pressure in a fast‑moving, project‑driven environment with tight deadlines.
Strong ownership mindset with the ability to make decisions in uncertain and rapidly changing situations.
A technical degree combined with a Bachelor’s degree in procurement/supply‑chain or a NEVI‑2 certification is preferred. Proficiency in MS Office and Power BI is a plus.
