Position: Geological Mapping Specialist - Remote Role
Join Axis Geoscience Ltd. as a Geological Mapping Specialist, focusing on hard-rock exploration in remote areas.

Your role will encompass geological mapping, prospecting, and supporting drill activities.

In this four-month contract position, you will plan field programs and provide expertise in geological data collection and validation. Your responsibilities include supervising drill campaigns and maintaining accurate field records, all while ensuring safety and environmental compliance. Your skills will facilitate productive exploration models and reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute field-based geological mapping activities

• Support drill campaigns and coordinate with contractors

• Collect, validate, and manage geological data

• Maintain accurate drill/core record documentation

• Contribute to exploration models and reporting efforts

Requirements:

• Strong skills in geological mapping and sampling

• Ability to operate independently in rugged terrain

• Experience with core logging and sample management

• Understanding of hard-rock exploration systems

• Capability to work flexible field schedules
