Mechanical Design Engineer

Position: Mechanical Design Engineer Hybrid Role
Join Agilus by Synergie as a Mechanical Design Engineer in Burlington, Ontario. This hybrid position involves designing and optimizing custom equipment for the customer equipment industry.

In this role, you will create 3D models and conduct design calculations using Autodesk tools. Your background in heavy industrial industries will be key as you prepare documentation and collaborate across engineering disciplines. The ability to communicate effectively in English and your proficiency with software such as PDM and ERP will support your success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design 3D models with Autodesk Inventor or Solidworks

• Create 2D schematics using AutoCAD

• Prepare calculations and optimize product designs

• Document design specifications and project materials

• Interface with vendors for component selection

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of relevant design experience

• Expertise in Autodesk Inventor, Solidworks, and AutoCAD

• Strong English communication skills

• Experience with pneumatic and hydraulic schematics

• Proficiency in PDM (preferably Autodesk VAULT)
