Position: Transmission Line Lead Engineer Hybrid Role
Join Sargent and Lundy as a Lead Transmission Line Engineer, driving innovation in high-voltage design. Experience the flexibility of a hybrid schedule while working on projects from 69kV to 500kV.

This pivotal position involves leading design efforts for major transmission lines and overseeing small project teams. You will perform critical studies for grounding and conductor selection while collaborating closely with clients.

Your role will also include mentoring junior engineers, contributing to proposal and cost estimation processes, and assessing sites for project execution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead design projects for high-voltage transmission lines

• Conduct cost analyses and develop design specifications

• Manage conductor selection studies and project teams

• Collaborate with clients and support business development

• Mentor less experienced engineers and facilitate learning

Requirements:

• Accredited BS degree in Engineering

• Proficiency with PLS-CADD and project oversight

• Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience

• Knowledge in NESC, IEEE, and other industry codes

• Excellent attention to detail and communication skills
