Salary:
Circa £47,000, depending on skills and experience. Full-time, with flexibility for part-time: 37 hours per week/permanent. Base
Location:
Flexible across the Anglian Water region, with requirement to travel to sites across the region. This role is predominantly site based, with occasional home working. Private health care. Double-matched pension. Car allowance. Life assurance at 8 times salary.
- Lead and support process safety risk management across water supply operations.
- Provide expertise in hazard identification, risk assessment, control measures and working knowledge of barrier-based risk analysis and its application.
- Support incident investigations, ensuring lessons are learned and embedded.
- Drive continuous improvement in process safety systems and performance.
- Deliver assurance and compliance with regulatory and internal standards.
- Collaborate across teams to promote a positive and proactive safety culture.
- Background in process safety, engineering, or risk management or a history of working with toxic gases and chemicals, such as chlorine and ozone.
- Experience in high-hazard industries.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills.
- Passion for improving process safety, resilience, and operational excellence.
