Position: Lead Engineer for Water Projects
GFT is hiring a Lead Water/Wastewater Pipeline Engineer/Project Manager in Ontario focused on creating sustainable water infrastructure solutions. This position operates within a hybrid work environment, combining remote work with office interactions.

As part of GFT’s Water team, you'll oversee the comprehensive design and construction of key water systems. You'll ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget, working closely with engineers and clients. This role emphasizes leadership, mentoring, and technical excellence in producing top-notch project proposals and deliverables.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage complex design projects from start to finish

• Lead construction oversight and project execution

• Create detailed engineering calculations and solutions

• Facilitate client meetings and manage expectations

• Support and mentor junior staff members

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Civil or equivalent)

• 4 years of relevant water/wastewater experience

• Current P.Eng. or working towards it

• Proven project management skills and written communication

• Proficient in MS Office and project management software
