Position Overview

We are seeking a Qualified Environmental Professional to lead and support both field and office-based environmental projects across Northern British Columbia and Alberta. This dynamic role is ideal for an experienced environmental professional who brings strong technical expertise, proven project management skills, a proactive approach, and a passion for delivering practical, effective environmental solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute environmental field programs, including remediation and reclamation projects, First Nations and industry pre-engagement assessments, and related project documentation.
  • Prepare technical reports, regulatory submissions, and project documentation.
  • Oversee environmental monitoring and data collection for soil, water, wildlife, and vegetation programs.
  • Supervise contractors and subcontractors.
  • Mentor and support the professional development of junior staff.
  • Collaborate with clients, regulators, and stakeholders to ensure regulatory compliance and project success.
  • Support business development and proposal preparation.
  • Ensure all work is completed in accordance with company health, safety, and environmental standards.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Environmental Science, Biology, Environmental Engineering, or a related discipline
  • 5+ years (Intermediate) or 10+ years (Senior) of relevant environmental consulting experience
  • Professional designation (e.g., P.Biol., P.Ag., P.Eng., R.P.Bio.) or eligibility for registration
  • Strong working knowledge of provincial and federal environmental regulations
  • Demonstrated experience in Environmental fieldwork
  • Data interpretation
  • Technical writing and reporting
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
  • Strong interpersonal, leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and terrain
  • Experience in the BC oil & gas or northern resource sectors is considered an asset
  • Experience with Fieldshare software is considered an asset
  • Valid Class 5 driver’s license and willingness to travel for fieldwork
  • First Aid, H2S Alive, or other safety certifications are considered an asset
